Dont worry Jacques ! you are lucky to still receive the journal ! Instead of me, who don't receive it any more, beacause of course, I did not pay the annual subscription waiting to have a website in order. Kind regards.

I miss the Journal too. But after a year and a half of a dysfunctional website and being fobbed off by the board all this time, with occasional claims that "the website is working," it became impossible to support the club further.

Only a test to see if the site works properly as stated in the last issue of The Journal.

Well, IT DOES but the preview does not show the pictures, however this is a very important feature. This probably means that I am still on the old site and that contrary to what is written in the July issue of the journal, the new web site is still not on line.

I haven't noticed any difference yet. When I add a new comment I still can't download photos using the frame below Add a new file.

The new website, if and when it is activated, will look different.

It's a disgrace that Al Keeling isn't responding to our questions and concerns, even though he created this thread specifically to discuss the new website. I emailed him last Wednesday asking why he's not responding to questions about the new website. I haven't received a response yet.

No posts at all for over a month, no news about the new website. RIP DTCA?

Yes, it's starting to get a bit sad. On August 6th, I sent an email to Al Keeling asking him to respond to questions about the new website; if not, at least have the decency to answer me. He didn't respond. He didn't respond to questions from Vic Mumby or from Gerrit Vierhuizen. So this is simply the end of a new website that simply won't be released, and Al Keeling doesn't have the decency to inform us about it either. It's a disgrace.

Jan, Exactly what you said. I don't think there will be a new website.

I am still waiting that the website works before to pay my 2025 subscrition ! So, the club stopped to send me the Journal. That's working !
