Something I have never noticed before, neither with this model, nor with any other Dinky Toy: the very factory job numbers cast into the respective component parts themselves! In this case it is the no. 14366 for the hinged top deck of the 984 Car Carrier and no. 14376 for the body of the 985 Car Carrier Trailer. The job numbers for this vehicle couple can be found listed on page 162 of the GBofDT. But ... the drawing (and consequently the job no.) of 14366 appears to be missing on this list. So, we can add job no. 14366 to our lists of Dinky Toys factory jobs!
Now I wonder if other enthusiasts in our DTCA community have found similar examples of cast-in job numbers on other Dinky models. Kind regards, Jan
