I had posted some pictures of these a few years ago, but with several new forum members, thought it might be nice to show these little trucks again. These were introduced in 1935 and discontinued in 1940, and were apparently never sold or packaged as a set....which would have seemed natural to do. These four liveries represented the British Railroad lines in the 1930's, and I think make for some pretty neat little models. These are very prone to being infected with metal fatigue, so it is difficult to find them in really nice condition. The front windscreen pillars seem especially vulnerable. Like a lot of the other pre-war Dinky's, these seem to capture the charm of a bygone era.

What a beautifull set.
Thanks Terry!
In this respect I would suggest new members and other new 'watchers' to scrutineously track earlier posts, if even of some years ago. They may contain unexpected hidden information and images, like Terry's, and they may hopefully cause revived discussions!
Kind regards, Jan
Fantastic Terry!
So British, these lovely models! And with blue hubs, really nice. And rare! Thanks!
Kind regards,
Rob
