Dinky 582/982 Pullmore - Dark Blue Cab/Dark Blue Body

Hello all, I am new to the club and also pretty new to collecting Dinky. Am currently collecting variants of 582/982 and I was told that there is a version with the dark blue cab and dark blue body.

Can anyone confirm this and do you have one?

Many thanks!

Eddie

Hi Eddie, welcome to the group! You are right about the dark blue Transporter, and here's mine along with the all-pale blue and pale/dark blue combinations, and the ramps numbered 794 and 994. I understand there are also variations in the colour of the upper and/or lower deck floors. Unfortunately, for some reason, part of the image has been cut off.

I think the overall dark blue is the nicest by far. Unfortunately it is relatively elusive.. I only just got one after years and it is tatty ...

Yours seems to be in rather better condition than mine. I wasn't aware of the darker one at all until I found this one in a local antiques centre, priced at £24 - I offered £20 and got the model, coming away very pleased with my purchase. The 794 ramp was also included!

Mine should be in better condition considering I paid more than five times what you did (sigh) ...

Thanks for the photos and comments. I have a couple of the all pale blue ones, one with glazing and two six rivet examples in varying condition. I was lucky to find a few for sale at the same time for a good price and put new tyres on them and cleaned them up a bit. Now on the lookout for the darker blue version.
