Two pieces of very good news:
Firstly, after a long illness Nigel Pearson is well again, he can be contacted via http://www.dinkyclub.com/
Secondly the Talkmodelyoys forum is back. At the moment it is "READ ONLY" and Nigel is doing some front-end work to restore the front end functionality. Access is via http://www.dinkyclub.com/ Please note new things cannot be posted on there yet.
I am sure you will all wish Nigel well and welcome back the TMT site with its invaluable supply of information.

That is excellent news - firstly about Nigel, and secondly with the eventual return of TMT. As you said, TMT has a wealth of information in its many pages.
As a matter of interest, I copied many pages from TMT at the time and filed them as a Word document shortly before the pages disappeared.

That's a great relief, both for Nigel and for us, Dinky (and other brands) enthusiasts!
Now the dilemma: where to concentrate our discussions in the future?
Kind regards, Jan
I think that question has already been answered Jan, whilst TMT has thankfully returned there is no guarantee for the future.
I think I will be concentrating my efforts on the DTCA site - there is more chance of this surviving long term.

Does anyone know why the old TMT website cannot be reached? When I look up the website I get now always the website of dinkyclub.com.
Jan Oldenhuis, 15 March 2021.
Dear Jan,
This has been discussed off line and this matter is currently been investigated by ex members of TMT. Aparently, Nigel the site owner has closed the site which is very unfortunate as it contained a lot of first class information.
Jacques, I discovered this closure a few minutes ago. It's very disappointing as I frequently referred to TMT for priceless information, not just about Dinkys but so many more brands. Where do I go for information on the Johillco Bluebird now?
A sad circumstance.
The information inTMT is not lost. It may be available again in an indefinite while.
About Johilco, your best bet is probably google. I have collected a few photos of Johilco models similar to the Dinky Toys : the Speed of the Wind, the MG Midget and the police box. Are there any more ?
