898 Berliet Transformer Carrier

Hello Terry
When you wrote: In reading the instruction sheet that Jacques so graciously supplied, it says that the transformer should be held in place with the elastic cords. It does not show how those are installed, but apparently there were no mounting tabs to hold it in place. I too am wondering how these elastic cords were fastened to the 908 which would be similar to your 898, unless they went right around and under the load bed. No doubt Jacques has the answer!
Jan
At least Liverpool got it right with their transformer as even without the elastic cords, the transformer sat reasonably snug between the two raised casting variations, which at the same time could still be used for the 660 in its military guise without interference by the 651. Most likely, Binns Road examined what Bobigny did, and decided to try and do it better!
