[This test post demonstrates that all photos have been cropped to landscape size and all of the titles that I added are invisible in the initial presentation. One has to click on the pictures to see them in the uploaded size and the full image. This implies that the actual image uploaded can be bigger than the images as seen here in the initial context. In 2015 the NAMAC (Dutch General Miniature Cars Club) celebrates its 50th anniversary. One of the major events is the big exhibition in the Louwman Museum in The Hague, the magnificent Dutch museum on automobile history, with a huge and famous collection of vintage cars. In 112 displays the same number of members will display selected topics of their miniature vehicles collections. An accompanying well-illustrated catalogue will be published and two promotional models will be issued on this occasion. The contents of the exhibition will be various. No doubt Dinky Toys will also be on display.
Open: 1 July – 9 August 2015, Tuesday-Sunday 10:00-17:00 h. (Closed on Monday). Location: Louwman Museum Leidsestraatweg 57 2594 BB Den Haag (The Hague) The Netherlands

Mounting the exhibition took place on 27 & 28 June and the opening on 30 June was done by Gijs van Lennep, twice winner of Le Mans. A quick photo impression, showing the mounting, opening and some contents of the exhibition, which is general, various. I just picked out some more vintage brands and models, but there is a lot of modern stuff too. Besides the day of mounting and the opening I went there with two collector friends, in style by Rolls Royce. The final photos illustrate that the permanent museum collection is very much worth while too!
Kind regards,Jan
Jan-Thanks for the nice post and all those pictures.....the displays look very nice, and yours was well done. A question about the photos. When I pressed or clicked on one of them, they did then appear full size and with titles. Buth they also open and display in a slide show presentation, each photo lasting for a few seconds. I tried re-clicking on a photo to see if I could freeze or stop it from switching to the next one, and I could not. I would think it would be nice to be able to stop and view one full size image indefinitely; is there any way to do this?
Regards,
Terry
