-699 Leopard Recovery Tank (1975-78)

An oyher name for this one  is : "Bergepanzer Leopard 1 recovery tank"

In his book "British Military Dinky Toys, Alan Sreee writes that this tank has been issued with grey wheels for the american market.

As I can not find one, can somebody confirm that this variation has been issued if possible with a photo and alsowhat is the evidence to say that it was for the American market.

I have never seen one either, and among the many many pictures of this model that are online, none has gray wheels. What would have been the reason for such an issue?
