Dinky Exhibition

Hi all,
Last year I arranged - as a guest exhibitor - a small exhibition at the Museum House outside Linköping, Sweden. I displayed a part of my FALCK collection, including the Dinky FALCK vehicles.

This summer, I have been asked to do a follow up with some of my Dinky Toys. The museum already displays all Dinky cars but not as many trucks, and I decided to organize a "Dinky Truck Exhibition".

It will be just one cabinet with around 50-75 items. There is room for some posters, though. I figured I could use the posters from the Dinky 75th Anniversary. Who has got the original art work that I can use for printing? Who owns the copyright?

Someone who knows?

Best regards,
Ragnar

Hi Ragnar,
Looks superb, you've done a great job of the layout, lets hope that there's lots of interest, it's a great way to get new collectors on board.
Well done!

Thanks guys!

I should have thought of this earlier. The museum could have produced a commemorative Dinky, like this one:

From Atlas? :S

I hadn't seen this before, but you have done a wonderful job with it. Like the others, hope it is well attended and we can attract some new followers and collectors!

Thanks guys!
The Model Auto Revue picked up the story as well:

And Rick Wilson of the Diecast Collector will run a two page feature in the August issue, he tells me.

That's good publicity for the museum and the Dinky exhibition!

The season has really not yet started. We'll have to wait for a couple of weeks to check the results.
