Dear all,
Aparently the Rover 75 was made without, later with "156" stamped into the baseplate. Can one supply a picture of the baseplate with 156.
Thanks and regards.
Jacques

Rover base plate without 156.

How about this one?

Rover base plate with Sales Number 156

The price of 3/- has this example on sale between June 1956 and June 1958. It is possible one of the end flaps contains a QIS of three rows of numerals. When I find it and if the box does have QIS I will let you know. Unfortunately, the model is in an incorrect box which should have contained a two-tone green version. It is possible the model was put in this incorrect box in the factory.
By the way - can you edit this Topic by including a dash before "156", otherwise the Topic will not be sorted with the other British Cars but somewhere at the end.
Kind regards

Bruce,
Many thanks for the picture which does the job very well.
I have edited the title as you asked.
Jacques.
